Accessioning:The Standards of a New (Art) World
Why We Accession

In an era where culture is either locked away in storage or lost in algorithmic oblivion, accessioning is our answer to permanence. Unlike traditional museums, we don’t accession based on market value or institutional validation—we accession based on cultural impact, artistic vision, and intellectual urgency.

Our goal is to preserve, amplify, and sustain those shaping culture today, ensuring their work isn’t erased by time or buried by exploitative platforms. Accessioning is not about gatekeeping—it’s about elevating work that deserves to be seen, studied, and engaged with outside the cycles of trends and market.

How We Stay Fair

We reject the exclusivity of the traditional art world while upholding standards that ensure accessioning remains meaningful. Instead of serving collectors, institutions, or art market speculation, our process is guided by a commitment to cultural integrity, aesthetic and conceptual depth, and artistic urgency.

Selection is based on

Cultural Impact: Does this work challenge, expand, or redefine the discourse?

Aesthetic & Conceptual Strength: Does it introduce new forms, languages, or ideas?

Social & Ethical Responsibility: Does it contribute to collective liberation, critique oppressive structures, or imagine radical futures?

Sustainability & Legacy: Will this work matter beyond the present moment?

Community Engagement & Influence: Is it shaping or inspiring new cultural ecosystems?

Independent/Outsider Merit: Is this work being created outside of, or in defiance of, market-driven or institutional pressures?

Who We Accession

Accessioning is open to artists, collectors, organizations, and art professionals whose work and contributions align with our curatorial vision and values. Selection is based not on market prestige, but on cultural significance, intellectual depth, and the potential to shape the future of artistic discourse.

Artists
Independent, emerging, and established artists whose work holds conceptual and cultural weight, expanding critical conversations and aesthetic possibilities.
Those who collect with intention and vision—not to hoard, but to share. We consider the concept, quality, and historical or cultural relevance of the collection, recognizing collectors who act as stewards of artistic legacies rather than gatekeepers of exclusivity.
Institutions, activist groups, and collectives committed to preserving, shaping, and distributing knowledge. This extends beyond the traditional art world to include research initiatives, archives, alternative education models, and cultural movements that align with the principles of A NEW (ART) WORLD.
Curators, historians, advisors, and thinkers actively engaged in redefining art’s place in the world. We accession those who are pushing the boundaries of art history, criticism, and collection-building, ensuring that expertise is accessible rather than concealed within elite networks.
Accessioning Is Not GatekeepingWe do not exist to dictate who is "worthy"—we exist to ensure that culture isn’t erased, that it is cared for, and that it exists beyond the fleeting nature of contemporary platforms.Accessioning is an act of resistance against disposability, a way to say: this matters, this must endure.
